Neville rushed into the common room holding an old spellbook.
“I finally found it!”
Harry looked up.
“Found what?”
“A spell that can solve my biggest problem.”
Ron laughed.
“You have a spell for forgetting passwords?”
Neville shook his head.
“No. Something worse.”
Hermione looked curious.
“What does the spell do?”
Neville opened the book.
“It helps you arrive at exactly the right moment.”
Ron stared at him.
“That's actually useful.”
Neville smiled.
“That's what I thought.”
Hermione pointed at the page.
“Have you tested it?”
Neville nodded.
“Once.”
“And?”
Neville sighed.
“I arrived three minutes late.”
Ron burst out laughing.
“How is that possible?”
“I don't know.”
Hermione took the book.
“Maybe you pronounced the spell incorrectly.”
Neville shook his head.
“I followed every instruction.”
Ron pointed at the page.
“Wait. What's that tiny note at the bottom?”
Hermione read it carefully.
“The spell only works if you know exactly when you need to arrive.”
Neville frowned.
“So I need to know the right time first?”
Hermione nodded.
“Apparently.”
Ron laughed.
“That's not a time spell. That's a watch.”
Neville looked at the book.
Then he slowly closed it.
“I've spent three weeks looking for this.”
Harry smiled.
“At least you found it eventually.”
Neville sighed.
“Three weeks late.”
Ron laughed even harder.
“Now that's the most Neville spell I've ever heard of.”
