My wife walked into the bedroom and caught me standing beside the bed.

She asked:

“What are you doing?”

I said:

“I'm preparing.”

She raised an eyebrow and asked:

“Preparing for what?”

“For tonight.”

She smiled back.

Then she walked closer and whispered:

“Oh… I like where this is going.”

I nodded confidently.

She asked:

“So what's the plan?”

I pointed at the bed and said:

“I'm trying to remember where I put my glasses.”

She stared at me.

“You are absolutely hopeless.”
