Harry noticed Snape looking unusually confident at breakfast.
He whispered to Ron,
“Something’s different about him.”
Ron nodded and said,
“Definitely, and I don't think it’s another potion.”
Hermione quietly added,
“Maybe Professor Snape has a secret talent.”
Harry grinned and whispered,
“Whatever it is, he looks way too confident about it.”
Ron leaned closer and said,
“I really don't want to know what you're thinking.”
Snape suddenly turned around and said,
“Some things are better discovered privately, Potter.”
Harry raised an eyebrow and asked,
“Are you trying to make that sound suspicious?”
Snape smirked and replied,
“I assure you, Potter, I am capable of much more than romance.”
Ron nearly choked on his breakfast.
Hermione covered her face and whispered,
“Professor, please stop.”
Harry laughed and said,
“Now you've definitely made it sound suspicious.”
Snape calmly smiled and said,
“I haven’t even started.”
