Tyrion once decided Cersei needed relationship advice.
Cersei immediately asked,
“And why exactly would I listen to you?”
Tyrion calmly replied,
“Because I have spent years studying people.”
Cersei raised an eyebrow.
“That sounds suspicious already.”
Tyrion smiled.
“Suspicious? No. Experienced.”
Cersei crossed her arms.
“Fine. What is your great advice?”
Tyrion leaned closer and said,
“Never argue with someone who already knows your weaknesses.”
Cersei smiled.
“That sounds like something you learned the hard way.”
Tyrion nodded.
“Several times.”
She asked,
“And what happens when the other person refuses to compromise?”
Tyrion took a sip of his wine.
“Then you have two choices.”
Cersei waited.
“What choices?”
Tyrion replied,
“Apologize… or prepare for a very long evening.”
Cersei stared at him for a moment.
Then she smiled and said,
“Finally, Tyrion. Something useful.”
Tyrion looked surprised.
“I knew my Game Of Thrones relationship advice would eventually work.”
Cersei shook her head.
“Don't get excited. I said useful, not good.”
And somehow, Tyrion considered that a compliment.
