My wife walked into the room wearing a new outfit.
She smiled and asked:
“Rate my outfit from 1 to 10.”
I looked at her and said:
“Honestly? Eleven.”
She smiled and said:
“Aww, really?”
I said:
“Absolutely.”
She turned around and asked:
“What do you like most about it?”
I said:
“The price tag.”
She stopped smiling.
I quickly added:
“Because it was on sale.”
She stared at me and said:
“You have five seconds to explain yourself.”
I said:
“I was trying to compliment your financial decisions.”
She walked away.
Apparently, romance and budgeting don't mix. 😂
